I have no idea as to what, if anything, Scottsdale is known for culinarily. So, for our first dinner there that wasn’t wedding-related, I tried to pick something that I figured that the area would be able to do either better or different than how they would do it in Chicago. And so, I picked the Salty Señorita because I wanted tequila and tacos.

Two weeks ago, my wife went to San Francisco for work. While she was there, i managed to eat everything in the fridge. Then, at the end of that week, I met her in Florida for a friends’ wedding. So, when we got back, we came home to an empty fridge. But, we were about to leave again for a week of work and play in Arizona. So, I didn’t want to fill the fridge, but I did want to cook something. And so, I decided I would make pizza. Because there’s never any leftovers when I make pizza.

Frenchy's Rockaway Grill

We had time for one last meal in Clearwater Beach. I wanted to eat grouper because apparently grouper is the thing to eat when you’re in Clearwater Beach. So, we went to Frenchy’s because I heard they have a really good grouper sandwich. And I love regional foods.
