My quest for the perfect bread to make at home continues. Now that I have a food scale, I was able to try this recipe from the King Arthur Flour website, The Crunchiest Crackliest Chewiest Lightest Easiest Bread You’ll Ever Bake. For me, this bread, although good, did not live up to any of the claimed superlatives.

Banh Mi & Co.
My wife and I always try to support restaurants in our immediate neighborhood. So last week, despite my general aversion for any food entity that puts the word “Co.” in its name (except for Bread Co.), we went to Banh Mi & Co. Although it’s been here for a little while (less than a year), it’s still relatively new.

Cranberry Pork Chops
